We investigated the sensitivity of RPCF and FTA-ABS test from a group of 102 seropositive reaction to cardiolipin flocculation test.
The FTA-ABS test is known as the newest and the most sensitive diagnostic method in detecting syphilis.
The results are following;
1. 8 patients (7.8% of whole patients are reactive to RPCF test aril noncreative - to FTA ABS test.
2. 3 patients (2.9% of whole patients are noncreative to- RPCF test and reactive to FTA ABS test
3. 35 patients (34.4% of whole patients) are reactive -to cardiolipin flocculation test and noncreative to FTA-ABS test.
From these findings, we could -reach to following conclusion We set the sensitivity of FTAABS test as 100%, the sensitivity of RPCF test is 89.9% and that of dardiolipin flocculation testis 65.7%
